Wizkid has announced he will be having a two-day free show for Ugandan fans.
The singer in the face of backlash of lying about giving Nigerians free shows decides to ‘calm all the noise’ by setting himself up for two shows in Uganda.
Recall that the singer was billed to perform in Uganda last year late 2016 but cancelled on grounds of ill health. The organizers of the concert however did not take it lightly which ended up in a warrant for Wizkid’s arrest.
Wizkid did later tender a public apology » and promised to fix new dates for the concert, which he has re-emphasized in the wake of a reminder from a fan, after he earlier tweeted he would be announcing a concert in Kenya which is to come up July 22, 2017.
Asides his African concert tours coming up, the starboy also has lined up concerts such as a DC concert coming up July 2 and London Wireless festival on July 9.
Wizkid has been nominated alongside Mr Eazi, Tekno, Davido, Babes Wodumo, AKA and Nasty C in the BET Best International Act Africa category.
This free show announced is well deserved for his Ugandan fans who he cancelled a show in 2016 on ill health grounds.
